Personal history note: My father-in-law knew the Beach Boys when they first got together and were practicing in their garage. Other personal history note: Though they never knew him, two of my kids went to school with the future mass murderer in Aurora, Colorado. Still another personal history note: As a kid, I remember playing kick-the-can with a neighbor who later became a co-founder of the SLA.
When one lives in California, it is easy to cross paths of famous/infamous people.
