Mr Trump claims that Canada is ripping of the US.
Like most things he says, this is BS. The fact has been that the US is ripping off Canada.
Until Mr Trump Canadian crude oil was sold to the US at a huge DISCOUNT.
This no longer apples.
Mr Trump has ensured that the supply of crude oil is curtailed.
That means that the price has increased somewhat. In addition, his "take over Canada rhetoric" has caused any discount to vanish.
Canada is making an extra $32 Billion on the oil. "Thanks, Donnie"
The fact is that when energy is removed from trade stats, Canada has been buying more from the US than the US buys from Canada.
The US administration has pissed off ALL of its worldwide customers. It wanted to isolate the US and is doing a very good job.
The difference between POTUS and the PM Canada is the PM knows what he is doing!
