Hey, I'm a new member and want to say hello to you all.
I'm also a History teacher in my daily life and think I can add something to help you with this topic. A human being (homo sapiens sapiens) from 10k years ago and one from now are made on the same constitutions, including capability of imagination.
Of course, if we take fetishes like nylons or vinyl, it would be impossible to exist before these materials were invented. But feet fetish, whipping and slave-treating are far more debatable as relations of power always permeated all societies. It is easy to understand then that something that was not ''fitted'' for daylight would always be kept as a secret. It makes historians work on BDSM topic very much harder. We cant forget also that there is a pyramid of interests in human primal life, as surviving and eating being the basis of it. For other priorities as BDSM to flourish, it would be in societies where most of basic needs were, at least, assured until certain points, like ancient Rome, for example.
On other side, after Illuminism, many ideas started to emerge and circulate throughtout Europe and western culture. What I can say after years of studying is that there is an enormous chance of BDSM practices happening in all the previous centuries, but is after the sexual revolution in XX Century that it became more and more diverse.
Another point: If we knew what we liked since we were kids and for no reason (I'm using now my own personal example, I always knew I loved ballbusting, even before the internet, when I thought I was the only person on Earth to enjoy it) the most probably hypothesis is that people before us did the same. Here are some of my guesses on people I believe enjoyed BDSM: Roman politics and powerful people, italian renaissance, european nobility on medieval and modern times, Victorian era rich people and industrialists and, of course, rock n'roll people after the 70s. Most of them are people of power, I know, but I believe they influenced the other layers. Sorry for the long thesis.

You equate lawsuits with guilty implications. Lawfare and slander of Trump is so rampant, I doubt that many (or any) of the cases you mention are negative indications of Trump's character. The examples you give have been shown to be misrepresented, exaggerated, or outright lies. The actions Trump has taken as president are geared to benefit the country as opposed to the Democrats who have adopted policies that weaken the US. Do you not realize we are under attack from many adversaries? They want to drag America down to third world status and chaos so their dominance will not be challenged. Cartels, gangs, and immigrant enclaves all want chaos, weak law enforcement, and gun control so they become the enforcers that the populace must endure and cater to. Foreign interests have enormous influence in our elections. The media, educational institutions, judiciary, etc. are embedded with America-hating activists who use race and gender to further divide us and create chaos. Trump is the only one with the strength, ability, and determination to save the US (and the world) from falling into third world standard of living and dark ages. Because of that, Trump is being attacked by all those forces to weaken his ability to defend our freedoms and way of life. ------ edit: add bumper sticker link ---- https://www.facebook.com/bridgett.w...Zj8vUyX4twDgBA8eaA8K1zhpfi5qYeB94V565dCl

Trump is the Antichrist!!
Donald Trump has been involved in thousands of lawsuits throughout his business career, but recently faced four major criminal cases (hush money, classified documents, Jan 6., Georgia election) and numerous civil suits, with proceedings occurring frequently in various state and federal courts as defendant, plaintiff, and sometimes even as the administration being sued. The number of court appearances is vast, covering everything from business disputes (over 4,000 cases before 2016) to his post-presidency criminal indictments and ongoing civil actions. Key Areas of Court Involvement: Business & Real Estate: Over 4,000 cases related to business, real estate, and tax disputes by 2016, including corporate bankruptcies. Trump Administration Lawsuits (2017-2021): His administration was the target of hundreds of lawsuits challenging policy actions. Post-Presidency Criminal Cases (2023-Present): New York: Falsifying business records (hush money trial). Federal (D.C.): January 6th election interference. Federal (Florida): Classified documents. Georgia (Fulton County): Racketeering/election interference. Civil Lawsuits: Ongoing defamation, business fraud, and other civil actions, with many leading to high-profile trials or appeals. In summary, Trump's court appearances span decades and cover a massive volume of cases, making a precise single number impossible, but it's in the thousands when business dealings are included, and dozens/hundreds for significant presidential and post-presidential legal battles
And 77 million people voted for this fraud....Who would have thunk it....

Trade With Canada - USMCA
Chuck123

Canada is now restricting the transfer of metals and power to the US in unstated response to Mr Trump. In addition, all shipments from the US to Canada are thoroughly inspection prior to release. This of course is VERY time consuming. Metals (Steel, Copper, Aluminum) are in themselves a masquerade for POWER. Canada eliminate the discount on heavy crude (I.E. Power) so the price increased.
The US has a power shortage as they get green electrical power from Canada.
There was a story that there was a plan to use Naval Reactors to power AI Data Centres. Where does the US gets its Uranium fuel for its nuclear reactors? Survey says CANADA!
If USMCA goes away so do Canadian and Mexican workers it authorizes.
In 2001 (9/11) 80% of the nurses working in Detroit area hospitals were Canadians working on TN permits. At four of the five (if not five of the five) would have to close if USMCA goes away. In 2023 the actual number of these Canadian nurses was 1887.
After 9/11 when the border was closed, it was not actually closed (Source: border folks in Detroit) It is unclear whether the US border folks as intelligent as these folks still employed.
As for the nurses, who in their right mind would want to make themselves for the ICE folks?
On D-Day Omaha Beach was the most difficult of the 6 beaches. The US forces eventually took it, however with horrific casualties. Juno beach was moderately difficult. The Canadians cleared the beach on 47 (37?) minutes and met their assigned objective, At the Battle of the Bulge, the attackers we American, British, and Canadian. Captured German commanders stated that if his soldiers determined the attackers were Canadian the dissection rate was 50%.
As an explanation for this, the reason may the close support of [Royal] Canadian Artillery which changed how they worked. They worked the way the Royal Artillery works today. (RA, RCA, RAA, RNZA)
Canadians aiding US Marines. Search Kapyong Korean war
D Company Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry received the US Presidents Citation for rescuing some US Marines. D Company PPCLI was overrun by Chinese. The commander called artillery fire onto his own position. It really pissed off the Chinese. The New Zealand Artillery Battery ( 2, 4 Gun Troops of 25 Pounders) did continuous fire for 7 days. That would be at least 3 round per minute from each gun.
That would be 3 rounds x 4 Guns x 2 Troops x 60 minutes x 24 hours x 7 days.
How many 2.5 Ton trucks do you need to supply the ammunition?

Just wait till Trump is gone and he doesn't have much time left in office and probably above ground too.. (he is 80 and looks/sounds awful)
These people will get their revenge on us.....(That means your kids and grandkids too)
Just wait till they install that Monster Gavin Newsome in the White House.
In the meantime Trump, his family and all his friends are making as much money as they can.. Trump has literally DOUBLED his personal wealth in one year last year....Same with his Sons and Jared Kushner...
They are looting the joint...

We are already at a third world level in many states.. Especially Minnesota. Socialism has already spread like wildfire in half the states. Our country is over 40 trillion dollars in debt. That is the pure definition of a bankrupted country. Trump can't and wont save us... In fact because of Trump the Socialism is going to get worse. He is an 80 year old ARROGANT man is who only out for himself... I don't know why you can't see this... Trump knew exactly what words to say to get millions of sucker's to vote for him. He has become one of the greatest lying politicians of all time... And inflation in the grocery stores has not come down. In fact prices are higher... Btw, What do you think is going to happen after Trump leaves? They (democrats) are going to come after us with everything they have to punish us. And it's interesting that all of these people knew exactly what Donald Trump is..... https://x.com/Nach9636/status/2012644259732558076?s=20

You attack character with vague references and avoid the good that Trump is doing (or trying to do) that benefits both the US and the world. Do you really want this country to be dragged down to third world level so the bulk of humanity in the US and elsewhere must live in a socialist hell of poverty? Where do you want this country to go?
