It is obvious the Biden's story about oversea money doesn't add up. They have hidden the financial trail well. But how stupid do they think the American people are?

It would taken an effort not to see what a corrupt politian Biden has been, even in his early Senate days. He even apologized for putting a Delaware credit company over his constitutes when the market crashed. He said he voted "Out of loyalty" to them because they had been generous donors. He actually made an official statement on this. Hunter, of course, was on the board. Yet, the American people didn't seem to notice. Why, on earth, the DNC, ran him as VP is, puzzling. Did they think they could slide by a crook? Did they think the "Uncle Joe" white guy routine would work? Whatever it was, it is backfiring now.

Imo he’s a sociopath and pathological liar. Always has been. I think it came back to bite him on his earlier runs for President but times and media have changed. I think they needed a comforting old white guy to offset Obama and it worked and now he’s a terrible president who will probably win again because Trump is an ass who can’t keep his mouth shut and too many republicans are idiots who value ideology over practicality. Obviously it’s more complicated mess than this.

Agreed that they needed a comforting old white guy on the ticket. But, they could have done a lot better. Certainly, they knew he was corrupt. Trump can be a real ass. There is no question. But, most people can see how much better off the country was when he was in office. So, I don't know how the election will go. It would not be surprising to see a Manchin/Haley third party ticket. Then, of course, there is Kennedy Jr. He's lost a bit of favor with me because he's back peddled on some of the very issues that he was outspoken about it in the beginning. But, anyone who steps on a debate stage with him will be toast. He's very well researched and thinks quickly on his feet. As a man who made his living as a litigation attorney, he's is pro at debating. Newsome also seems to be preparing to take Biden's place. It will probably be a surprised filled election season.

Looking back to 2008 I can’t remember who the alternatives to Biden were as a ticket balancer. They certainly could’ve done better but I don’t think they cared. Winning is the only thing that matters and it worked just like Biden was going down the tubes in 2016 until the democrats saw Bernie was a loser against trump and smartly the field dropped out to give Biden a one on one against Bernie in South Carolina and beyond.

I can’t see how anyone can not agree with you how much better off the country was in 2020 as opposed to now. The Democratic Party is now ruled by the hard left who imo see this country as evil and want to destroy it. Any alternative is going to be better whether its Manchin Trump
Kennedy, libertarian or whatever.
