Frankly, I never really followed Charley Kirk.
I had watched a couple of interviews and was comforted that I agreed with most of his political points and I watched a few of his "Prove Me Wrong" clips with the mindset that they were little more than "gotcha" setups to highlight the irrationality of those who participated.
Since his assassination, I watched more of his work and background pieces than I would have otherwise watched in a lifetime.
Of all the glowing comments about him, a comment by Tucker Carlson struck me about his personality: "He [Charlie Kirk] just never forgot there was a person behind [those who presented contrary] views."
It is so easy to demonize those who present a disagreeable opinion.
In these times, especially where the political divide is huge, differing opinions often result in friendship and family relationships being strained, damaged, or destroyed.
It appears that Charlie Kirk would never lose sight that those, who advocate contrary positions in good faith, do so because they feel their position is beneficial to those affected.
