She is putting "Newcomers" over legal American citizens. She's offering $500. to landlords who rent to migrants. Affordable housing is difficult to find. This is a difficult time for young people just starting out, especially when they have families. In most states, I can't imagine that Michigan is an exception, affordable housing is very competitive. There may be hundreds of applications on a single house. Now she wants to make it even worse for her constitutes in order to advance her career.

I suggest that every politician helps create every war....and every division.....I would also suggest that every politician is laughing all the way to the bank....

Sad but spot on.

The point is to advert discrimination. There are a lot of migrants and refuges in Michigan that needs a place to live. Many of them came here with nothing more than a backpack and the clothes on their backs.

ALL OF THIS can be rationalized and more readily accepted, If our United States citizenry can just get real and move with today's shifting times, from ocean-crossing passenger ships like those that carried our Caucasian grandparents from the European Countries of Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Russia to Ellis Island where they were welcomed by Civil War and WWI survivors and then migrated on to Orchard and Spring Street in lower Manhattan and then to 149th Street and the Grand Concourse and Fordham Road in the Bronx and Fulton Street in Brooklyn TO:
Brown and Black people arriving today from South and Central American countries on trains and busses and very often on foot, who are seeking PRECISELY what their European counterparts did a Century ago - - A FRESH START and a HOPEFUL NEW LIFE.

If today's COVID-19, WWII and several other recent war survivors ACCEPT today's immigrants with arms as open as our predecessors had and STOP with the SELF-CENTERED 'throw 'em in the streets' CRAP, our ENTIRE Country would be better off - AND it has NOTHING to do with RED state vs. BLUE state...

Committing discrimination for the sake of adverting discrimination is only making it worse. We have homeless people, who are American citizens, sleeping in the streets while illegal immigrates are being housed in nice hotels. We send billions of dollars to foreign countries every year in the name of aid. Their countries need to step up and act on behalf of their people.
