...Israel DOES NOT have the capabilities to take out Iran's nukes/facilities because they are ALL hundreds of feet underground. Israel knows this and they also know the the United States does have this technology/bombs etc to get the job done right...
Israel has been sabotaging Iran's nuclear efforts for decades.
How much those efforts changed the timeline is anyone's guess.
As to the underground facilities, it appears thousands of centrifuges were damaged by the sudden loss of power.
I don't know Trump's strategy or end game, bit having control of the use of bombs capable of penetrating buried facilities gives him a powerful bargaining chip.
Netanyahu will cater to Trump to get that capability and Iran will negotiate with Trump to keep Israel from getting that capability.
It does look like Iran is now pushing for talks.
