Trump just announced that he will withhold all disaster funding to any state who boycotts Israel. This is treason in my book too...
As pointed out before, your book doesn't know basic definitions.
Treason is, by definition: "1. The betrayal of allegiance toward one's own country, especially by committing hostile acts against it or aiding its enemies in committing such acts."
If treason is indeed in play here, it is the entities that are attempting to hinder or thwart the foreign policy of the sitting government.
You may or may not think Trump's foreign policy warrants taking action to counter the objective of the administration, but doing so is treason.
Foreign policy is delegated to the administration. Trump is doing his job in his attempts to stop such actions.
