That is an odd one. Don't the Bushes hate Trump? They must think there is something in it for themselves.

I'm not a fan of the Bush family either, especially Jeb. They could be out for self interests, wondering what could happen to their party if the court systems continue down this dangerous path. Years ahead, the tables could be turned on the DNC.

All of the cases have elements in common. In the NYC case, it was based on an allegation that failed to meet the criminal standards for prosecution. So, they took it to civil, which is much more subjective. They've tried this on a consumer fraud case. But, there is not a single consumer who believes they were wronged. The state is set to get the whopping 335 million penalty, not the consumer they claimed was wronged. It absolute insanity.

If it continues like this, will we see Republicans getting hauled into civil courts on flimsy charges in blue states and Democrats being politically prosecuted in red states? If someone had told me this could happen, even just 5 years ago, I would have thought they were off their rocker. No one should be applauding it. For whatever reason that Jeb stood up and condemned it, I'm happy to hear it.
